In deze rol ben je als manager het eerste aanspreekpunt voor de klant (een multinational in de high-tech industrie), uw import coordinator en het wereldwijd netwerk en derden met betrekking tot het managen van de wereldwijde import activiteiten die wij oor deze multinational in de high-tech industrie uitvoeren. De toepasselijke import-activiteiten zijn uit het Verre Oosten naar Europese bestemmingen. Om uw werk te vervullen met succes bouw je goede relaties met de klant, de interne netwerk, leveranciers en de toegewijde klantenservice account team. U managed op een proactieve, professionele en constructieve manier. Je bewaakt de voortgang op de import activiteiten voor de klant op basis van de KPI's en SOP voor deze klant. In geval van afwijkingen stuurt u pro-actief waardoor wordt voorkomen dat problemen escaleren en suggesties voor verbetering van communicatie worden gerealiseerd. Toezien op zorg voor administratieve ondersteuning op basis de klant specifieke richtlijnen zoals: tijdige en correcte facturatie van de wereldwijde inbound activiteiten (e-facturering), intercompany facturatie naar zus kantoren, tijdige en correcte rapportering naar de klant en interne organisatie. Je hebt een beroepsopleiding HBO werk-en denkniveau en hebt minimaal 5-7 jaar relevante import expeditie ervaring waarvan 2-3 jaar in een 'toezicht' rol.
Je beschikt over uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in het Engels (schriftelijk en mondeling) en hebben goede interculturele vaardigheden.
Je bent een ervaren gebruiker van een of meer IT-systemen worden gebruikt in de expeditie-industrie en MS Office-toepassingen.
Je bent een representatieve en pro-actieve communicator en teamspeler, in staat om te werken met een hoog-service veeleisende klant.
Je bent een nauwkeurige organisator met sterk zakelijk inzicht in staat om efficiënt te plannen zijn / haar activiteiten en het overzicht te houden.
Je bent flexibel in werktijden en hebt een service gerichte houding, bereid zijn om problemen op te lossen buiten de normale werktijden als dat nodig is.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for all aspects of Warehouse activities, including receiving, material handling, storage, picking/packing/shipping, inventory control, kit builds/reworks, returns, as well as Logistics support.
Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding safety, regulatory and hazardous materials, as well as internal policies and procedures.
Implement best practice procedures and processes to meet company goals and objectives related to customer satisfaction, inventory accuracy and efficiency.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the hiring, management, professional growth and development of Warehouse personnel in support of the company business goals.
Responsible for maintaining and improving OTIF (on-time and in-full) delivery performance, inventory accuracy and productivity.
Proactively respond with a sense of urgency, analyze and resolve work problems, or assist others in solving work problems.
Develop one unified Warehouse team and have everyone trained on all aspects of receiving, material handling and picking/packing/shipping.
Develop Warehouse SOP’s aligned with all regions and localized.
Manage labor costs and scheduling in support of the company business goals
Recommend, design and layout Warehouse and equipment when required to support business growth.
Ensures compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley section 404.
Additional duties and assignments as assigned or needed.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree, preferably in logistics or related field, and 3-5 years of Managerial experience in a similar environment.

Description:
The export supervisor is responsible for the correct execution of the A to Z order process of export orders in close cooperation with the other departments involved. He/she determines the daily priorities and ensures these are executed as such. The supervisor thinks of and suggests improvements to the manager and is the first in line to address any issues in relation of staff. The team is responsible for the complete handling of all shipments to distribution partners, intercompany shipments and key account orders. The team deals with questions and problems that arise, and pro actively informs customers, freight forwarders and internal departments.
- Lead the daily Status&Priority meeting with other WM departments
- Day to day management of the export team
- Ensure consistency in a small team with variable workload
- Ensure team compliance to all special requirements as detailed on customer orders
- Advise customers on the costs related to the customer requirements and provide alternatives.
- Ensure preparation of the required shipping documents and notification to the freight forwarders and customers

Qualifications:
Hard skills: HBO Education in logistics or SCP, 5 years experience in an office based logistics environment, extensive knowledge of export and customs documentation, SAP experience, management experience, strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch, good understanding of business processes.
